emilygrace Posted April 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2009 This is our first HAL cruise, so bear with me. Our previous cruises have been on ships that have all the info already printed on your luggage tags. Do you usually fill out ALL the info on your luggage tags, or do you just put in your name, address, etc. and your stateroom #? I don't see the need to put in my flight info and all that. Thanks in advance for your help.;)
YXU AC*SE Posted April 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2009 I am super lazy. Last name and cabin number is all it gets. And I haven't missed getting dressed for dinner once! :-) Scott.
jtl513 Posted April 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2009 I am super lazy. Last name and cabin number is all it gets. The new tags that will start being distributed soon only have room for name, cabin number and sailing date. The latter is recommended just in case there's some confusion at the pier whether your bag is going onto the ship or coming off! :)
cb at sea Posted April 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2009 You don't want to put them on BEFORE you fly----wait until you get your bags after the flight to put on the ship tags. The airlines have enough trouble getting your luggage from point A to point B with their own tags!
emilygrace Posted April 29, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted April 29, 2009 Thanx for your replies. Yes, I know to not put them on until we gather them at the airport. I will remember about the sailing date.....good point.
