RCI IOS Aft cabin #8712 (01/17/10)

Can anyone give me any positives or negatives on this cabin? I've never been on RCI and we have never had a balcony cabin. I've heard both positives and negatives about these cabins in the back of the ship...... please help me make my decision of keeping this cabin reservation or not!

You will have alot of the superstructure of the ship to "look past"---the balcony doesn't look directly down into the water.... but your balcony will be deeper than what you'd get on the side of the ship. If there are only 2 of you, you may not NEED that deep balcony and a side may suit you better if you prefer being able to sort of "hang" over the rail and see water.

It is a long walk back and forth to the aft cabins....some like that, I don't! It's not that I mind the walking; it's just inconvenient for quick trips back to the cabin! (Especially in heels on Formal night!!!)
