1) Has anyone ate at the

Lobster Alive Restaurant & Beach Bar, Barbados

2) How is the beach at the restaurante?

3) How far and what type of trans. would you suggest to get to the Lobster Alive?

We did not eat there but as I recall from looking at the menu the lobster was something like $80 (can't recall if that was US or Barbados dollars ;) ) The beach was lovely and the water was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! We took a taxi there from the pier and I believe it was maybe a 5-10 minute ride. Chair and umbrella rentals were available there for $5 each and included a coupon for a free drink!

Lobster Alive and Boatyard and a few other smaller hangouts

are all located along the 2 mi. curve of Carlisle Bay with its white sand beach.

It's okay, especially if you want to be within sight of your ship,

albeit about 1.75 miles away from it, but you can see the funnel
