Pub Crawl--on ship

Wink,

It sounds like a good time.

Were they all fruity type drinks like they serve at the lattitude parties:eek: Those are kind of gross.

No Sandy.. In fact, one was green with a tinge of brown. LOL

Nothing like the latitude's party.

Remember tho.. it may be different on other ships.

It seems they really want you to get your money's worth, so they don't mess around with frou frou drinks. ;)

That's my girl!!!

One of our CC group went and they brought a bottle of liquor so everyone got extra shots. I can tell you all of them didn't feel any pain until the next morning.

(they also probably couldn't tell you which bars they went to LOL)

Thanks, Wink. that sounds fun. So what were the drinks? Were they literally just shots or where they mixed drinks? If so, do you remember what it was?

I think it couldn't hurt! Great idea - at least they will know there is an interest level. :)

They MUST change this so we can do both--The CC's (and level 10 goblins) have spoken!!---LOL:p

I am putting this on our roll call--maybe there will be power in numbers!!!!

One way to get the date changed is everyone that comes to sign up tell them not to and NCL will move it to another date. That happened on our sailing and it was moved to Thursday evening from Sunday

We did the pub crawl twice on Majesty a few weeks ago. What a riot. The staff members who run it get to drink with you.. It's in their contract. What a great job to have.

We played games at each stop, and almost everyone got some type of prize, like a beer koozie or a luggage tag. the drinks were really strong.. like big shots. The only rules are, you have to finish the drink before going to the next bar and everyone has to drink.

DH and I split the cost on the 2nd one, and we shared the drink. He had to wear a hat that said "virgin crawler."

Everyone wears name tags with names or titles they've made up.

It was a hoot and well worth the $20/pp.

And in our cases, the drinks are being made while you're playing a game, and they decided what you'd drink. You don't order it.

We participated in a pup crawl on the POA last year....one of the highlights of the cruise. The super-sized shots were mostly drinks that I'd never heard of (or really even tasted that good) but they were certainly potent.

We also had to make up a name for ourselves and there were goofy hats and headresses for "infractions" (taking a drink too early). We stopped at 5 different bars where we would play a trivia game, I believe girls against guys.

Great way to meet other people and good to do early on in the cruise as there were several couples we continued to see throughout.

Enjoy!!

Come join us! The more the merrier. We usually play this twice - once at the hotel the night before the cruise and then once the first night on the ship. We are planning a Mardi Gras cruise for our next one so may add beads, boas and hats to the group to trot from cabin to cabin. Had so much fun on the last cruise (Fascination) that people were asking to join our group. We usually have about 20 or more playing and jackpot gets up there. Have to make sure each Host smuggles enough liquid to wet everyones whistle!!! We switch off who hosts each time we play. Check out short video in link below in cruises sailed. I think I have a photo of the toast.
