Here's a link to the Vancouver2010 games web site and the venue location.

http://www.vancouver2010.com/en/competition-schedules-and-venues/-/32530/esecov/index.html

The two most prominent ones are downtown and are BC Place Stadium - our domed stadium that looks a lot like the Metrodome and GM Place where the hockey games will be played.

On your way in from the Airport you may be able to see the Olympic Skating oval and if you look across the water towards the North Shore mountians you will see Hollyburn Ridge and Black Mountain where the snow boarding championships will be held.

Out near Queen Elizabeth Park is the new Little Mountain Curling facility and at UBC a new hockey rink.

The others are located at Whistler Olympic Park:

which is an easy and short drive from the Sea to Sky Highway - remainder of the skiing, bobsled and luge are in Whistler

All venues are finished except for the Athlete's village which is nearing completion along beautiful False Creek in downtown Vancouver

Hope this helps

Cheers

Dennis

I'm sure that there will be an Olympic store at the Vancouver airport, your wife can pick up a trinkit or two.

There are lots of places with Olympics stuff, but The Bay and Zellers are both official suppliers and have a good variety and good prices. London Drugs is pretty good, too.
