Can you split a cabin on how the Sign and sail cards are charged?

 

As in 2 friends cruise and each has thier own CC that they want thier S&S is charged to?

Sure!

I've not tried to do that during check-in but I'm positive that you can go to the Purser's Desk once on board and get that done...

Yes you can. If you booked thru carnival when you fill out your fun pass you can put the different information in there. If it is not accepting it that way, call you PVP and they can help you. As long as one is not a minor it should work :)

I've done this twice. Neither cruise was booked directly through Carnival, or setup with the purser. Both times, when checking in at the cruise terminal the Carnival agent asked for the card to be used for the S&S account. We just said, "Can we have two? One for each of us?". The reply was a quick, no problem. Took both of our cards and did whatever they need to do to set it up. Took no more than three to four minutes.

We've always had 4 people in one cabin and have all had our own Sign & Sail cards. You should be fine!

You can set up separate S&S accounts during the check-in process using a credit or debit card. If any of the passengers plan to use cash the account has to be set up at the Purser's Desk after boarding. Until the cash account is set up the S&S card is just a room key, no charging privileges.

You can actually set that up when you fill out your Fun Pass, now. Our adult children (college age and legal!) pay for their own expenses on ship, but we pay for their cruise. Good deal for them! So we set up their expense acct. online when the Fun Pass is filled out.
