Disembarkation Luggage Question

We do not fly out after our cruise until 6pm so we are planning on staying on the ship until the kick us out:) My question/concern is that someone might take our luggage. Do they have someone who checks to make sure nobody takes the wrong luggage either accidentally or on purpose? Has anyone had a problem with this or I am just worrying about nothing:confused:

In our experience its pretty much on the honour system. Is self disembarkation an option for you where you wheel off your own luggage when you wish to leave?

I had a piece of luggage that was moved to another area by some nice soul and it took forever to find it. No checking is done.

I have never seen any official checking that people had only their own luggage.

 

You will not be staying on the ship too late. Every cruise I have been on, they get the departing passengers off by 9:30 or 10:00. You may want to make plans for the day, otherwise it will be a long boring day at the airport. Some cruise lines off a tur on debarkation day that ends at the airport.

Yeah, I realized we were not going to be able to stay on very late since they have to set up for the next cruise but we are not going to be first in line to get off. Where can I find info about the tours?

On Princess, they give info on the debarkation day tours about 3 or 4 days before the cruise ends. In some ports they fill up quickly.
