Smoking on the lido deck on the Freedom

Was wondering if anyone out there knows the smoking policy on the Carnival Freedom I seem to remember the last ship we went on they did not allow any smoking on the lido deck both sides was wondering about the Freedom Thanks

Was wondering if anyone out there knows the smoking policy on the Carnival Freedom I seem to remember the last ship we went on they did not allow any smoking on the lido deck both sides was wondering about the Freedom Thanks

 

On the Freedom....smoking is allowed on one side outside by the pool.

 

Currently (to the best of my knowledge) Carnival only has one ship where smoking is not allowed on Lido (outside or inside) and that is on the Splendor.

 

This is because 95% of the Lido area on the Splendor is considered INDOOR space (with the retractable roof)....so smoking is only allowed on Deck 10 and 11 Starboard side.
