We just returned from the Infinity Alaskan cruise. Dined in the speciality restaurant -- United States. This was the most amazing dining experience we have ever had! Dinner lasted 3 hours and was wonderful! Well worth the $30 surcharge.

I beg to differ with you. I really don't think the food was worth an extra $30. But that is just my opion.

Celebrity does a wonderful job with their alternative restaurants! Frommer's rates the Millennium class alternative restaurants as the "best at sea", which includes the luxury lines. For that kind of service and cuisine, the $30 surcharge is no big deal.
