Poll: How do you use computers at sea?

I only use the computer for airport check-in of my return flight on a Princess cruise. On the Grand last year the internet was so slow it took my total free hour as a Captain's Circle member

Early on in my crusing obsession, I'd occassionally check my email at the internet cafe on board, but I don't do that anymore unless something unsettling (ill relative or such) happens just before departing. Otherwise, I'm on vacation from the real world...and that includes any technology beyond my digital camera!

We own an internet business and run it online while cruising. It does take 2 - 3 hours/day but, well, the rest of the day is cruising =)

I bring a laptop and use it to check email, download photos, and all the other normal things. However, I like to work on my cruise review daily so that I have accurate memories of our vacation, and a good review that will hopefully benefit and be enjoyed by others. Everyone should post a review, I love reading them.

I use the internet on board every day just to stay in contact with my kids. Then to print out boarding passes for flights home.

once i am on the cruise ship,i forget about

computers.i also turn of the cell phone.

i am on vacation and not intrested in computers
