leaving Sunday on the sun to Alaska

a few last minute questions

- how much does the soda card cost?

- what day is the formal night (if we want to dress up)

- is there craps in the casino and what is the minimum at the craps table

- and is it going to be cold inside the ship[, is the AC going to be freezing like most other ships

thanks :)

Hello BigDaddy;

I'll leave the first, second and fourth questions to others, but regarding the Sun's casino: Yes there is a craps table and for both cruises I was on the the table minimum was $5 and I seem to recall that the free odds were 3/4/5X.

Just want to say, the Sun is one of my favorite ships, have a blast.

Cold inside, I have never had a problem but bring a light wiegh shawl or something just in case.

Craps has a $5 to $10 min and the tables are not always open. Ticks hubby off to no end.

Forrmal nights of optional formal will be the 2 sea days.

I am not sure about soda cards, I think they are about $45.00 for a week.

Buy your soda card after the ship is in international waters...you will not be charged tax.

Be aware that NCL has just changed over to Pepsi products. Not a coke to be had...

DH is a Diet Coke addict and when on NCL, the only place you could get a coke from a can was in the dining rooms, otherwise it was fountain. The mix was never right, either too flat or too carbonated, so we ended up getting our money back.
