Are you referring to the Poach Pear salad that USED to be on the old Pinnacle Menu??

 

The special desserts are long gone.

No...I also enjoyed the dried cranberry and fresh pear salad...I infer from your remark that since last fall, both have been eliminatated with the changes made to the Pinnacle Grill menu. Pears away!

OMG the baked alaska on Zaandam on our inside passage cruise (june 07) was "to die for" -- made even better because of the funny (ok maybe a little hokey but FUN) "parade of the baked alaskas" -- i still LOL whenever i watch the videos i took that night. no dessert i've had since even comes close!
