New Year's Eve 2009 in Barcelona!

Our Mediterranean cruise embarks from Barcelona on January 3rd, 2010, and we will be there on December 31st. So...wondering whether anyone has been in Barcelona for New Year's Eve before (or will be this year), and I'm looking for tips and suggestions for a great evening. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary!

Can't comment on that except to say if it's anything like winning a soccer cup, expect Las Ramblas to look like Times Square on New Years Eve.
