Jet Blue & Air Tran - March 2010 Reservations

Does anyone know when Jet Blue and Air Tran will be beginning reservations for March 2010 and beyond?

 

I looked yesterday and Jet Blue is through 2/28/2010 and Air Tran appears to be through 3/6/2010 or so when I tried various dates.

 

I was suprised and pleased at the good rates I was seeing especially on the weekends from the Northeast to FLL. Let's hope they stay through the winter traveling season.

From what i have noticed they do not book as far in the future as other airlines do. Dont know why??? But i would try around Oct or Nov

Southwest, Airtran, and JetBlue usually release schedules about 6-8 months in advance. Most airlines are having a 'sale' now. Keep in mind that March and April is spring break so Florida airfare won't be discounted.

air tran is now open through the first week of March

I don't think that they post the flights too far ahead because they probably have to watch fuel prices much closer than the big boys. We're flying AirTran to Orlando for our Carnival Glory cruise in Sept. They have changed our flights 4 times at this point with more to come I'm sure :(

We booked our Jet Blue flight 6 months out to San Juan and they cancelled it last week! They didnt send any notification, I was just checking the reservations for fun. After researching this, I find that Jet Blue is doing this more and more in the past two years. So, have a back up plan.
