cheffip Posted August 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2009 We're in Cannes from 10 am - 8 pm on a Sunday and I would like a DIY to give me a taste of the coastal French Riviera. I'm debating between taking the train to Beaulieu and walking down to Cap Ferrat (maybe seeing the Villa Ephrussi) or taking the bus over to Antibes for the old town there and maybe seeing part of Cap D'Antibes as well. Anyone been to both and any recommendations one way or the other?
Cruise Junky Posted August 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2009 I've only driven around Cap Ferrat, didn't actually get out. It was a nice drive, but not really somewhere to spend a lot of time. On the other hand, we had a lovely afternoon in Antibes.
Maineac Posted August 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2009 We'll be docking in Monte Carlo. Spending time at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild on Cap Ferrat is my #1 choice. Of course I love gardens and beautiful architecture. Since we'll be docked from 8am till 10pm I'm also considering some time in Eze to check out some of the perfumeries. Above all, I just want to take it slow and enjoy!!! Have a wonderful journey.
