Are all Nova Scotia cruises in the fall?

Can anyone recommend a cruise for a family during the summer months? Our family would like to do a reunion cruise around Nova Scotia while the kids are out of school. Anyone?

We are sailing from Baltimore next year in June to Canada and New England with a stop in Halifax.

We are booked on the Caribbean Princess out of New York next summer (June 22) on a 9 night Canada/New England Cruise that has port stops in Boston, Bar Harbor, Newport, Charlotte, PEI and Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia.

HAL has 7-day cruises on the Maasdam one way Boston-Montreal from mid-May through sometime in October. Ports are Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Quebec and Montreal.

Holland America, Princess and Royal Caribbean are doing Canada/NE cruises next summer. I suggest you check out their websites.

Holland America's Maasdam is a small ship and with a family you might want a bigger ship with more activities.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. The trip would be in the summer of 2012 so hopefully these itineraries will still be offered. Didn't realize there were so many options!

We were just on RCI out of Baltimore to New England and Canada Augut 12-21. There was also the same itinerary in July.
