We used to go to an ice machine at night to get 25 lb.? blocks of ice so we could go ice blocking at a particular park with a hill and grass. Once you get a little dew on the grass, you throw a carpet square on top of it and slide down the hill at some speed. We also needed some "borrowed" milk crates to carry the blocks. We only did it a few times, but it was great fun until the rangers arrived one evening. Apparently, it wasn't very good for the grass. βΊοΈ The ice machine is still there, but I don't if it sells blocks anymore. The blocks were also very good for weekend camping with an ice chest. They melt a lot slower than bagged ice.

I don't know much about it. But I have read on here that you cannot use a Visa gift card to set up your account. Because it doesn't have your name on it. What was stated, was that you could use it settle your onboard charges at the end of the cruise at guest services. I have no idea if that is true, or if it has changed since the post was written.

That sounds like what I have heard about foot surgery. It would be pretty awful. When my close co-worker had bunion surgery, they actually told her to bring headphones. and music. We were in a hot tub at a conference several years later. I held up my foot and asked if hers had looked like mine. She also said O-M-G. No. Hers weren't nearly that bad. The podiatrist also said mine were really bad. But my toes don't overlap, and wide shoes seem to be fine. I was actually scheduled for surgery, but I chickened out.
