  1. Another Edge class lover here. We have a B2B on the Eclipse this fall and I'm not looking forward to the ship, itinerary yes, ship no. The ships that didn't get revolutionized, to me, feel dated, worn and old.
  2. Yes. They do not fill all the available tables pre cruise they hold back many for walk up. We never make reservations ahead of time. We go when we are ready and except for the first night when it gets a little crazy, rarely have had a wait of more than 5 minutes. They have 4 MDRs and you can get the same menu items in all of them so if one is busy we ask about the others and go to the one with not wait.
  3. Suggest the OP call and ask since there is no consistent answer here, then report back. I tend to agree that it can be looked at as a cancellation of 1 cabin and repricing of the other cabin to reflect the additional passenger(s) in the remaining cabin.
  4. Short ribs, pork chop from Tuscan, French onion soup, lamb shank from Cyprus.
  5. But they will have you off the ship by 9a.m.
  6. There are flash sales in the Cruise Planner from time to time. They can include beverage packages, wi-fi, excursions, dining or just some things. These flash sales don’t apply for every sailing. In the past there have been sales on Black Friday or. 4th of July, etc some are better than others, just depends on what things the cruise line wants increased revenue.
  7. The menus in the app before your cruise are the menus for the current sailing not a future sailing. So unless the ship is sailing the same number of night and the same itinerary then the menus will be in a different order. Lobster is on the last EC night so that day varies depending upon whether the are 2 or 3 EC nights and the itinerary. EC nights are most often on sea days, occasionally on a port day with an early departure.
  8. I have Surf Shark and got off the Edge on 5/1. The internet would not work on my IPad unless the they disabled the VPN, which they did. However my IPhone worked fine for about 2/3 of the cruise then it would not work. The iLounge staff said that the ships internet would not work with a VPN and that I was lucky the IPhone worked as long as it did. Left the ship and reconnected the VPN and on the phone and it was fine. We got to our hotel and the IPad not work with VPN enabled. Very frustrating as now I can’t get the iPad to to to connect with the VPN on .
  9. I’m glad you are safely home. I’m sure you furry friends will be sitting with you shortly.
  10. If you book your cruise with all included pricing it is a package, if the beverage package goes on sale your cruise price does not get adjusted. Same with the wi-fi. There is no Elite discount on the fare for either cruise only or all included. What you can get is a 1 category upgrade. You can book a Aqua 1 cabin and pay the price for a Aqua 2 cabin. You have to ask for this when you book, you can't get booking on line. After you book and before final payment if the price of you cruise with all included goes down you can call and get the price adjusted, just make sure any promotions you have are included in the new lower price. What you can do now is do a mock booking with the cruise only rate and then do the same mock booking with all included. Take the difference and figure out the daily rate for the drink package and the wi-fi. Compare that to the price of purchasing the drink package and the wi-fi. Be sure to add the 20% gratuity to the price of the beverage package as that will be added in your purchase a beverage package. The all included crui9se price includes the 20% gratuity on the beverage package. Most of the time the all included price is less expensive than booking a cruise only rate and then purchasing the beverage package and wi-fi seperately.
  11. Yes, cabin 1696 and 1673 have larger balconies. This is consistent with the middle 2 SV on each Deck. The xtra size is due to a storage closet, which doesn’t have a balcony making for a slightly larger balcony for those cabins.
  12. If you are at the Select or above level in the Captains Club you get 2 items pressed at no charge. Elite get 2 items, plus 1 bag wash & fold laundry and 1 item dry cleaned.
  13. Similar to what we pay at home for dry cleaning. We never send out pj’s, undergarments, swimsuits, t-shirts, or suits to be washed😲. Really who washes a suit?
