  1. Has anyone ever pre booked the retreat and managed to have the cost refunded and swapped to use on board credit on board? I know this works for excursions. I’ve booked for the entire cruise, straight after booking the cruise, and now find myself with more OBC than I anticipated. Thank you.

  3. I don’t doubt. We buy the deluxe drinks package, one streaming package each and dine in speciality restaurants each night. But there aren’t enough speciality restaurants on the older (preferred) ships to make this plus package a viable offering. If it’s that popular, increased demand for speciality dining would outstrip supply, leaving unhappy package and non package customers. Accessibility of good speciality restaurants (glasshouse, Sindhu) is my number one priority. If these become difficult to get a reservation in I will sail elsewhere.
  4. @molecrochip what is a plus/premium package? Unaware of princess offerings. Seabourn/P&O only for me. Is it a drinks package pitched above P&O’s deluxe?
  5. It sounds amazing. I will definitely do this. 3.20pm flight and have been to and stayed in Athens so many times during or before cruises but never been to Sounion.
  6. Does anyone know whether, for flight ease flights after a certain time from Athens, Seabourn provide a lunch in a hotel somewhere? We’ve had this elsewhere but sometimes the cut off for applicable flights differs, so does anyone recall the cut off time if they do please?

  10. Me too. It was actually 8 ports and 5 countries when I looked. So cancelled
  11. Sorry. Misadvised. I now have the letter and a refund is an option.
  12. I have received no notification of this from Seabourn. Just rung the travel agent and they have a letter that doesn’t offer a refund or cancellation option but has completely different start and end points and dates different by weeks with 8 ports dropped (northbound leg).
  13. This significantly affects the second leg cape town up. Eight ports and five countries which made the second leg interesting are now pinched for the first. More sea days. I believe the Cape Town start point is now different days too (edit one week later) but have yet to check. Will be looking for reimbursement and compensation of costs for flights etc. Of course I have full sympathy for the situation Seabourn are facing and for all those guests on the first leg and round trip. However, this was a special trip with significant time off work and I am not prepared to pay handsomely for what is now a shortened, repositioning cruise on the northward bound option.
