  1. It will not let you progress without answering questions with an asterisk.
  2. This is correct: it used to be a case of "do you need an evacuation chair?" but now it's "you must have an evacuation chair".
  3. It forces you to tick one or the other and wont let you move on without selecting an answer. It is set up so that you must have an evacuation chair allocated it you need a mobility aid (regardless of the type of need).
  4. I agree with Molecrochip - it's a poor interpretation of the H&S guidelines. my son is a part-time wheelchair user. He doesn't need an evacuation chair, and yet to take his chair onboard they deem he automatically must have an evacuation chair. It's absolutely ridiculous and I appreciate that sometimes people who use wheelchairs part-time do so for unpredictable reasons, but this seems to disregard a whole host of disabled passengers. we are now in a position of taking the chair and if there is an evacuation chair available taking that place off someone who does need it and now wont be able to travel, or not taking the chair and having to limit our activities to ship-based. Edit to add: it's not discrimination, it's just a very narrow minded view of what it actually is to be disabled and use a wheelchair.
  5. As others have said: wifi can be shared/swapped about. You may also be surprised how long you get data roaming for: because of the length of the fjords we were often able to use our own roaming service. We usually stay in the Ibis budget, and they do rooms for 3 from £45: but it depends on when you book. There is also quite a cheap travel lodge in Newbury. Or the airport premier inn isnt badly priced - again prices fluctuate a lot! Parking is worth booking sooner rather than later as it doesn't get cheaper the closet you get. There are loads of options. We have used CPS, Parkside Meet and Greet (through Holiday Extras) and hotel and parking packages (also through holiday extras). I would recommend planning activities in each port and booking them so that you aren't just wandering around not sure what to do with bored teenagers complaining 😂 Whats In Port is a great resource. The Olden Skylift is popular with all ages, Stavanger has a Petrol Museum that the 3 year old would probably love, and Rib tours etc that the older ones might enjoy. Alesund had a great aquarium. Lots of these things can be done cheaper yourself by planning and pre-booking. P&O do offer some good excursions though, and they are a bit more than doing them yourself, but it all depends on the type of activity. You can also do things like take your own paddle boards or do free hiking etc. The more you plan, the more fun you will have. In regards to the teens, I would recommend You Tube: there are loads of videos and reviews of the ship/resorts that might help make it more exciting. Also you could get them involved in the planning.
  6. Thank you for taking the time to write a great report - I am glad you had such a good time 😊
  7. In theory they may do a spot check and ask to see proof of insurance, but if you have it on your bank you should be able to access the details via your banking App: if not you can get a letter from your bank confirming your coverage.
  8. Smoking isn't allowed on balconies: I would (and have, albeit on NCL - I haven't encountered it on P&O) reported it. I am an ex-smoker who happens to not at all bothered by the smell of smoking, but the safety/mess factor makes me report it.
  9. We were on the Iona last April and last June and the beds were put away every day. They asked us if we wanted them putting away and we did due to having restricted space with the bed out. In 2022 on the Britannia they left the bed out due to the extra issues witn Covid cleaning etc. There was no choice in it that time.
  10. I think it seems really variable: I found that the Sky Princess was £200 (total) more than the same week on the Iona, but that was with Princess Plus and a better balcony cabin. In effect it made the Princess cruise cheaper for more. But, other times I have priced it up and P&O are noteably cheaper. It seems to be that Princess are cheaper than P&O during the school holiday weeks, and then at othet times it's roles reversed 😂
  11. Thank you for sharing: I love the Ventura and always like to read a report 😊
  12. I'm looking forward to your opinions as we are going on our first Princess soon (albeit on a different ship).
  13. I think everytime I've seen a George Michael or Robbie Williams on a cruise I've never lasted more than 5 minutes. People seem to really over-perform them, and George Michael music especially is destroyed by the characature style. I think in general I mostly prefer people just singing songs as themselves, rather than the whole tribute style.
  14. Oh, different one - same star. Yzzy was very good and personable too. We had Ariana Grande on Ventura last and she was brilliant and great with the kids and did a brilliant One Last Time performance, quite emotional actually.
  15. We saw Paloma (well, Yzzy as Paloma) on the Ventura a few yeara ago and thought she was incredible. I wish they would do a few more modern tributes, just to add a bit of variety. I agree, there seemed to be no variety when we were on Britannia: it was all older, despite it being a very multi-generational vibe on the ship. They need a good mix to get the party going so to speak. Having said that, the first time we went on Ventura 10+ years ago it was very "old" music, but the last few times I have found it much more diverse in music years and genre.
