KroozFoolz Posted February 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2011 http://www.caribbean-on-line.com/islands/tt/sbmap.shtml Fort King George is a 15 minute up hill walk, according to the information the Department of Tourism provided me. It was very hot the day we were there. We took a taxi. :p Actually, we negotiated with the taxi driver to take us to Fort King George for photo ops before taking us to Pigeon Point. The views from the fort are really nice. My Tobago pictures: http://travel.webshots.com/album/577482532NzlqSu

Swimming in the Nylon Pool was really cool too - something I never imagined I would get to do.

You did the right thing, having the taxi save you the uphill slog! Walking in these islands always seems like a good idea until you get there, and the heat and humidity make you consider otherwise. ;)
