Another security warning for Nassau

YIKES! :eek:

All of us know there is crime everyplace even in the cities where we live so we rather know where to avoid.

Problem with Nassau is robberies have been happening in areas in broad daylight where tourist go like Fish Fry and the Queen's Staircase.

Will say the direct walk between Senor Frogs and the ship is well patrolled and kept secure.

Unfortunately, we no long feel as safe walking around in Nassau as we once did. :(

we've rode the jitneys all around before and felt ok ...I hate to hear this we had plans of riding them around again this coming weekend...geesh I wonder if we should even get off the ship...

If you read the report, it says a man was shot LATE at night and the other happened very EARLY in the AM.

To me, sounds like locals getting a bit drunk and doing what gangs do in most urban neighborhoods on a Saturday night or early morning

Yes there is crime in the Bahamas, I live in a very safe neighborhood, but I wouldn't frequent certain places at 2 AM on a Late Saturday nite.
