Are large transport vans or party buses allowed close to ship in New York?

We are a party of 20 sailing out of NY. We intend to get 2 vans or a party bus to take us from South Jersey to the terminal. I thought I once read that large transports are not allowed in the pier area. Can anyone offer advice?

Thank you.

I don't know about what arrangements have to be made, but large full sized 45 foot coaches (mainly Academy), have a regular 'sawtooth' loading area right in front of the lower (arrival level) of the Manhattan cruise ship terminal....

Yes, big coaches and party buses/vans have parking bays to the left and right of the terminal entrance. Usually a porter with their cart will approach an arriving bus/van even before the luggage starts to be unloaded from the vehicle. They will be there upon your return, as well. We've arrived via coach or party bus/van on numerous occasions. VERY easy and uncomplicated.
