Lower Reid Falls & Yakutania Point Skagway

We are doing railway first thing in the morning and will have four hours left in the afternoon. I would like to do both hikes if possible. Can anyone tell me a faster alternative to walking? I was thinking SmartBus, does anyone know to get on the bus or where tickets are sold?

SMART bus does not take you to Reid's Falls, only about half way there. Plus, you can have waits for the SMART bus. So not certain- it would be faster than walking.

You have chosen walks at opposite ends of Skagway. I would suggest you pick one or the other.

Yeah, it would be a lot of walking to opposite ends of town. We rented bikes and did both one year.

I would go to the Gold Rush Cemetery and Reid Falls. Although the falls are nice they’re not overly impressive, the appeal is the historical aspect of the cemetery.

On the opposite end, if you choose Yakutania point, you can continue on to Smuggler's Cove.

If you choose Reid Falls you will also get to experience some interesting history at Gold Rush cemetery. Those falls were full & really rolling a couple weeks ago
