Cthy651 Posted October 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2015 Every time we travel to Fort Lauderdale, my husband would like to do the Everglades Airboat Tour to see the alligators. We have a cruise booked for April 2016 and November 2016 Which month would be the better one to take the tour - and how much time would be involved - would we need to arrive 2 days before ship's departure? Also we plan to stay in the Las Olas Blvd area - so would a taxi be the best way to go? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. phabric Posted October 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Check out http://www.evergladesholidaypark.com from their website they have a pick up service. We are staying at the Hyatt Place 17th St and asked Everglade Holiday Park for directions and they mapquest for me and it shows a 1/2 hour drive. Their airboat ride is 1 hour and a 20 minute alligator show. Edited October 14, 2015 by phabric
bills blasters Posted October 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2015 A couple years ago some of our group used Quality Limo Service to take a tour. They picked them up at the Embassy Suites, and took them to Holiday park (I think that was the name.) I don't remember how much it cost, but they thought it was a good price for 4 of them. You can go on QLS webpage and check it out. Claudia

eandj Posted October 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2015 You don't see a ton of alligators from the boat. I think we saw 2 of the smaller ones.. There was a caged area where they showed off a few more. We had a pretty cool captain/guide tho that stopped for narration and to call over birds. I don't think we were there much more than a couple hours. But we were there with a ship excursion, so things were timed.
