Necessary to prebook a beach club?

I'm not sure about the places you listed, but another option is Blue Kay. It's amazing there and at least 4x the size of these other small beach clubs. There's some decent snorkeling there too.

They all take walk ins. They have pre-reserved/paid AI priced packages ,but are not exclusive AIs. How many ships in port when you're there? How big?

If more than 2 ships or if both of those ships are big ships (4-6K passengers), you may want to pre book if there's a particular spot you want. Barefoot beach and YaYas do accommodate ship beach break excursions. As mitsugirly recommends, head for Blue Kay or contact Steve at Tropicante and reserve a lounger (same beach as Barefoot and YaYa and just a little ways away from Pez).
