Rare babs135 Posted July 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2016 We will be in Nassau at the end of December, beginning January. I've just had a look at accuweather which shows an historical temperature of being in the high 70s. Is this what we can expect? Need to know if I have to buy a new swimming costume :D:D
arkiesgirl Posted July 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2016 This sounds about right, possibly a bit warmer at times. We were there last December. I can't comment on the water temp. since we didn't swim. Enjoy your visit!
Rare babs135 Posted July 20, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted July 20, 2016 Thanks. I don't 'do' water but hopeful for some sun on my back :D I think a shopping trip to London may well be on the cards :D:D

JawjaFatBoy Posted July 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2016 We've been in Nassau from early to mid December, and temps were mid to upper 70's. We aren't really beach people, so can't give first hand experience there. However, from what I've heard, the water can be kinda chilly even though air temps are very comfortable. OCruisers Posted August 7, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2016 The water will be on the very chilly side. Air temperatures are great if you are lucky enough to have a sunny day!
MikeBTN Posted August 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2016 What's comfortable to one person is freezing to another. Average water temps: http://www.bahamas.com/water-temp-chart
