Zip Line Excursion in St Thomas

I am on the Escape Sept 10th and last night on myNCL.com and there was a new excursion called Tree Limin Extreme Zipline Tour - anybody done this one and if so was it worth the $$

I have a coworker who has done the experience while staying on St Thomas and says it is on the Do Not Miss list. Thus, I will be doing the zip lining in March when I am in St Thomas.

Also, depending on how long you are at port, you can do this one yourself. Google them and then call direct for prices. I suspect the price is much less than thru NCL.

I doubt the price is less. If they contract with the ship they may not be able to undersell.

However, a direct booking may put you in a smaller group than cruise excursion.

The prices are always higher on ship even when using same vendors. The ship make a $30-$40 profit on most excursions.

Concerning cost

I know Royal charges $149. The zipline is $119 for adults (I booked yesterday as part of my land vacation). Assuming a cab is $16 from the pier (for the round trip) Royal is $14 more per person.

this is the #1 excursion im curious about. its $109 on their site and $129 on NCLs site. but does the cab/ride/whatever come WITH ncl or not? that could make all the difference.
