layover time in Dublin

If you are also going to return through Dublin other posters will probably be better in answering, but we flew home from Dublin to JFK on Aer Lingus last year. We went through US customs and immigration in Dublin, so when we arrived in NYC, we just picked up our bags and walked out. If you are connecting in Dublin on your return flight, other posters should be able to answer as to whether you have to collect your bags upon arrival and go through customs/immigration/security with them. When we came home, we originated in Dublin so were not on a connecting flight arriving in Dublin. If that's the case, more time might be necessary. Seems it took us well over an hour for customs/immigration/security, and as I said, we were originating our flight back to the US in Dublin. And maybe the best advise is to call and an Aer Lingus rep and ask them.
