Glacier Bay - Incredible Video!

This video from Glacier Bay National Park Service was uploaded to YouTube a few days ago. I can't imagine how exciting it would have been to see AND hear this in person!!

We were able to get to John Hopkins Glacier in early August this year aboard an Uncruise ship. The area is often off-limits due to the amount of ice and seal pupping. It is an incredible area, particularly when the mountains are visible.

That is wonderful. I spent at least half an hour with my camera pointing at that glacier without so much as a single flake falling off !
