$8.00 ferry to Nevis?

A friend mentioned that we should take the $8 ferry to Nevis...:confused: Can anyone direct me to info about that?

From Port Zante to the ferry terminal it is about 700 yards or so, according to the measure feature on Google Earth. It is to the left of the cruise ship pier. It is about a 45 min ride each way on the ferry to Nevis. Timing is the critical issue for cruise ship passengers visiting Nevis. You may go over on one ferry & return on a different one so check the schedules posted at the terminals.

they can be found online from several sources: google: ferry services st kitts-nevis, The nevis1.com site is pretty good.

the sknvibes is a good source. You have to be aware that schedules can & do change. When you go to the ferry terminal you pay for the ticket and a security fee at 2 different windows at the ticket booth.
