canadarocks Posted November 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2014 A friend mentioned that we should take the $8 ferry to Nevis... Can anyone direct me to info about that?
paul58 Posted November 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2014 From Port Zante to the ferry terminal it is about 700 yards or so, according to the measure feature on Google Earth. It is to the left of the cruise ship pier. It is about a 45 min ride each way on the ferry to Nevis. Timing is the critical issue for cruise ship passengers visiting Nevis. You may go over on one ferry & return on a different one so check the schedules posted at the terminals.

Any chance the ferry schedules would be posted online someplace, like they are in St Thomas?

paul58 Posted November 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2014 the sknvibes is a good source. You have to be aware that schedules can & do change. When you go to the ferry terminal you pay for the ticket and a security fee at 2 different windows at the ticket booth.
