Sand and Seas Posted December 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Can anyone tell me if the Escape casino hosts will still book your specialty meal for you now that they are giving you some sort of food credit instead of a meal? I am Golden and if I understand it correctly, will have a $100 food credit. Does it need to be used all at once or can we use part at one restaurant and then try some treats at Food Republic? Jeffffffs Posted December 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2015 I am Golden and if I understand it correctly, will have a $100 food credit. Is this a new policy? I haven't come across this anywhere else.
Sand and Seas Posted December 30, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 30, 2015 Is this a new policy? I haven't come across this anywhere else. This was info from some posts concerning recent cruisers on Escape and the new ala-carte pricing. I was hoping for some further detail from those who have cruised on her. I just searched and came up with this (see below) from a post about Ultimate Dining packages: Quote: Originally Posted by BirdTravels The Escape sails out of Terminal B and C (based on even or odd number floors). Everyone goes through security screening upon entering the terminal. Once you are past the security checkpoint and in the Check-In area, look for the CAS checkin signs (normally to the far left). You can use the casino checkin lines whether you are booked through CAS directly or using a Caesars certificate. On the Escape only (currently), CAS offers $100 dining credit to gold and $200 dining credit to black players. The credit does NOT need to be used all at once, CAS will pay for all food and beverage expenses up to the credit limit. They also offer $150/$300 spa credit. Red and Green players still get the free drinks card (which covers things not on the UBP like bottled water, energy drinks). Even if you have a dining package, you can use that dining credit for a la carte lunches and non-casino beverages. It also pays for dining upcharges (e.g. Supper Club, Bayamos, and Tapas bar). Even though we had a dessert with our SDP dinner, we went to the Food Republic for one of their specialty desserts! Just to add to this great post that CAS Hot level people get $75 food/bev credit on Escape, and Dinner for two on other ships. _________________

1smudslide Posted February 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Is the $100 for a certain level? I thought I read someone else say $75. I'm hot level and think maybe $75 was for that.

It was $100 for Golden and 75 for Hot. It appeared as a 'tier level' credit on the bill. We used 78 at Cagneys and then enjoyed lots of little plate items at Food Republic. Also for Golden there is a $150 spa credit. We used $108 for two one-day spa passes.

Wow, their spa pass price is ridiculous.
