Mariner of the Seas - GS Question

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I have an upcoming cruise on Mariner and was curious if you could share your opinions of what would be the best GS to pick on this ship.

Currently we have booked 1268 and 1568, I chose these cabins because they are below the back of the Solarium just before the doors to the main pool and I'm guess that would have the least noise from moving deck chairs etc...

Anyone have some experience in either of these cabins or have some sugestions?

Thank you for your help and wishing you all a Happy New Year :)

Aaron

I think these are a good choice. We upgraded to a GS in the last few weeks before one of our cruises on Mariner and we were under the main deck. Wasn't too bad during the day but noisy at night when they had the dance parties and crew dragging chairs around the deck at 3am.

No experience in either of these cabins but we did 1598 a month ago and loved the location. One deck below the pool, spa and windjammer, and the lounge accessible from the same aft staircase. We never heard any noise from above. Would stay on deck 11 again in a heart beat. Mariner is compact enough that the distance between the two sets of lifts is not an inconvenience at all.

Years ago sailed in 1568.

Across the hall was a service area that never bothered us.

The balcony was slightly behind the over hang of the whirl pools.

Only once were we awakend by noise from above.

Loved the location in respect to the elevators.

Enjoy, we did.

Safe travels.
