EDL Posted June 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Hi All, I had hoped to take my CPAP machine with me on my cruise this September. Do Princess provide power extensions or distilled water in the staterooms? Ed
Loonbeam Posted June 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Short answer is yes, subject to availability. Do a search on CPAP, there are several threads on the subject with details. caribill Posted June 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Bring an extension cord. Princess can supply the water.

SwissDave Posted June 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2012 I dont use the humidifier but i do request an extension lead. Last 2 cruises they layed it round the cabin in such a way that it was not a trip hazard and so could stay in place the whole cruise.
as19111 Posted June 18, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Yes to both. The cord is the heavy orange cord and is quite long, so if you can bring your own, you may prefer your own. We always travel with a power strip and it's worked for DH so far. I still call in advance of the cruise and request the cord, just in case our room setup/outlet requires one. If we don't need it, we ask our cabin steward to return it with our thanks. Just a note of caution: on our last cruise, DH received a note from passenger services asking if he needed special assistance disembarking, like a wheel chair. Apparently, the request for the cord for the CPAP triggered him as a "special needs" cruiser. He's not, but he was quite surprised that they asked just because of the CPAP.
