Good Buck Posted February 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Carnival has 3 tours in Guatemala we are looking at. First is the Anitgu on your own & hire the local guide. That will be the one we will fall back on. The 2 others are different coffee estates + time in Anitgu. "Coffee Estate,Cultural Center & Antigua with Lunch" or "Filidelfia Coffee Estate & Antigua" that one says lunch is served at a resturant, but does not say if you pay seperate or included. Both the coffee tours are the same price & just a bit more than just going to Anitgu, so the cost is not the issue. I would like to know if the time spent at the coffee estates are worth it & if anyone knows which one would be better.
xbatt8 Posted February 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Hi Donald and/or Vicky. Haven't seen you on the roll call much lately. It seems to be getting busy lately with people's NY plans. I found a couple of threads with some info about your question. The first is about Filadephia.... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1079697 The other is just a page on an old thread. It's the thread about 3 below yours that is 3+ pages and starts out "Port of Puerto Quetzal". Just click on the last page and there is a review (an UNHAPPY review) of the tour. See you on the ship.
