mlymd Posted July 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2014 We are cruising in Sept out of Ft Lauderdale. Just wondering if anyone knows if they have been checking bottles of wine and charging a corkage fee for additional bottles. Apparently, some ports check and others don't. CruiserBruce Posted July 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) This is a cruise line policy, not a port policy. So checking on the board for that cruise line would be beneficial. Edited July 23, 2014 by CruiserBruce
eandj Posted July 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Agree that you need to check with your cruise line board. From experience much depends on the specific ship and line policies. If you know and accept the consequences if "caught" trying to get around line policies, then do what you'd like. No harm done.
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2014 CruiserBruce has it right. I would post this on the Cruise Line Board. It is cruise line specific. Keith
