Port Shuttle Surcharge for Hampton Inn and Suites Galveston

We just booked the Hampton Inn and Suites for a pre-cruise one night stay (one of the few that did not have a two-night minimum). The amenities list cruise shuttle for a surcharge. Has anyone done this and are willing to share what the surcharge is?

Also, those who have stayed here, what is close to see for the day/evening that is walking distance?

Call and ask about surcharge.

Beach is right there. Is across street from Walmart. Tourist attractions are further away.

I was going to book the Hampton Inn and Suites on 6431 Central City Blvd in Galveston, but when I called to ask about the shuttle, I was told they were discontinuing it.
