Aerial Tramway

Has anyone done the aerial tramway in St. Lucia? The ship's excursion is quite expensive but is this worth it?

We did one on one island (can't remember). We bought thru the ship and just went over at our convenience. Prices where same if bought on ship or at the tramway. The only advantage of buying from the ship , we where told in case of line you jumped to the front.

Most likely St Thomas, and the tramway in St Lucia is very, very different.

First off, about a 30+ minute drive from port. Second, not a transportation to top of hill, Rather it's a long ride through the rainforest with a guide pointing out flora and fauna, history of area, views, etc. It's. Beautiful ride and pretty interesting. I live here and have done it several times cuz it's interesting. You can check out Rainforest Skylines website for a little more info and a few pics and decide from there. It may be less expensive to book direct, but then you have transportation costs, which are expensive. A ship's tour will include transport.
