Hi, The first Tahiti cruise starts May 2nd, we will be on her. Can 't wait especially after this winter in New England. We are also doing the Pacific crossing as well then continuing on with the cruise. I plan on writing a review, I am sure it will be amazing. This will be 14 and 15 with Windstar Cruises. Susanne

Really looking forward to reading your review. We have longer to wait for our Tahiti cruise but your review will get us ready for what should be a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm also anxious to read your review! Even if it's just a quickie one - anything is better than nothing. We were originally supposed to be on the May 16th cruise but had to cancel it and I was thinking about booking it for next year but want to get some feedback beforehand.

Have a great time!

I know it's a little early, but has anyone completed the Tahiti cruise? If so, did you do the air & hotel day-rooms through Windstar? What did you do for shore excursions? Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance! :)

WE have done the French Polynesia cruise out of Tahiti 3 times. In 2004 with Windstar, in 2009 with Star Clippers and 2013 with Oceania. May do Windstar again in 2015.

The water is many shades of blue and the snorkeling is great. The 4-wheel drive tour in Bora Bora is not to miss. The ride is VERY bumpy but the views from the top of the mountains are out of this world.

On our last trip, we got an air deviation and went a couple of days early and stayed in an over the water bungalow in Moorea that our travel agent arranged, Moorea is a short ferry boat ride from Tahii. Like a second honeymoon.
