They aren't rental cars (although they are debating a law to allow tourists to rent 150cc vehicles).

What do people think?

My question would be how safe would they be. How fast do they go? Bermuda drivers are not going to like them on the roads if they are slow. On a minibus we were behind some tourists on a scooter going about 20 mph with no place to pass and the driver was pissed. Finally he careened around them. I looked into those in one of the European cities, Barcelona, and was concerned that if something hit us or the other way around it would be bad. When I was in Barcelona I never saw anyone using them. Probably because Barcelona has great Hop On and Hop Off buses. The ones in Barcelona didn't have a guide, they had a recorded guide. Having the guide like they propose would be better than what they had in Barcelona.

The small rental cars pictured in the Gazette look safer.

Interesting - a Government spokesperson posted it to Facebook today.

The person handling social media for the government may have confused this proposal with the one currently under consideration that would allow tourists to rent mini cars.
