Guranteed Veranda

We are booked on the January 18, 2015 sailing of the Eclipse in a guarantee Veranda. All veranda rooms are showing sold out and we have not received a cabin assignment, Anyone have knowledge of how this will play out?

You probably will get an assignment a couple of weeks before sailing...but if not, you may get your veranda at the dock. You will get veranda or better....don't fret.

This may not need to be said, but just in case. The first time I booked a guarantee on Celebrity I wondered why I wasn't being told anything. I didn't realize that you just go to My Celebrity and see if one was assigned. You just click on Manage My Reservation (assuming of course you've added that resevation to your profile) and you'll see the stateroom assignment if there has been one assigned.

When booking through a TA they have advised me but I've never received anything when booking directly with X.

My apologies if you've already looked... just wanted to make sure all the bases were covered.

As GHStudio says, you may not find out until you get to the ship. My personal experience has been at least a month out which is why I made my first comment.

Thanks Rick, I have done all that. We have booked guaranteed veranda many times in the past however, this time, the ship is showing sold out. We are CC Elite thus that might help. Guess Houdini will pull something out of the rabbit!

I just checked the Celebrity website, and the ship is not sold out. It is showing available Concierge cabins and above.

Don't worry - you will get your Veranda or higher :)

The best website to check for available cabins is Celebrity UK, they now show ALL available cabins in all classes/subclasses, and are often showing available cabins that are not showing on the popular EU based website that we all thought showed all cabins available. Anyway FYIF, based on the UK site, your cruise has only 9 cabins unsold. Now as they can't sell yours (whatever it may eventually be) that may mean 10 unsold - or they won't sell the last of the 9:)

Actual inventory is:

1 x 2D 6207 (I guess the worst you can get)

4 x C3

3 x A1

1 x S2

Looks to me like you may have a chance of winning the lottery:D
