Mini speedboat snorkel adv. Anyone?

Looking to do the mini speedboat snorkel

adventure at St. Kitts. Has anyone done this?

Is this through the ship, or an independent tour? We were looking at this also. I had mini-speedboat tour booked through the ship for Nassau (different island, I know) and RC canceled the excursion just days before we sailed. We were very sad. Out next cruise stops in St Kitts, and we are interested in this, too.

I have not done this but Blue Water Safaris has been in business for years in St Kitts and is a very reputable company. They operate the large catamarans that sail to Nevis and offer a snorkeling stop on the SE Peninsula. I have seen the mini-speedboats out on the water. You get on the boats at South Frigate Bay near Timothy Beach Resort. It is about a 10-15 ride from the port area.

Also thinking about this. Couldn't find out how long it is for? Is it an hour, two hours, etc? Anyone know?
