Uber from Port of Miami to Port Everglades?

Would I be mad to try and get an Uber from Port of Miami. We're getting off Navigator on 22nd Dec and boarding Serenade the same day.

Pre booked shuttle to Port Everglades is coming in about $100, Uber quote is $40.

Would it be too busy to even dream of trying to get an Uber from Port to Port?

There are many threads here discussing Uber in the Ft lauderdale/Miami area. I have not seen a single negative comment. Not sure why you would thing it too busy. The Uber people are out there seeking work. Just request them.

Thanks Bruce, I was using the Tapatalk app earlier and the search function seemed to have a malfunction so couldn't find anything.

I was just worried that half the ship would be waiting on an Uber and I'd need to wait for like two hours. I've since found out you can "schedule a ride" in advance.

We did the opposite. Got off Allure in Port Everglades then went directly to Port of Miami to board Carnival Vista. Called Uber and they were there in less than ten minutes.:)

Commonly discussed here- taxi, shuttle are the major ones. Limo would be another.
