1) why is there a 'practice' line?

2) when you stop are you in water or on land?

3) do you book the excursion ahead of time or can you purchase it there once you see it?

4) is it close to the buffet food?

5) is it close to a beach?

Any other tips for the zip line? I'm a bit of a chicken LOL

They want to show you how to be safe, hence the "practice" line. You end up on land...not in the water, unless you do something wrong!!!

The entire thing only takes about 90 mins-2 hours..you will have ample time to find lunch...there are MANY food set ups! Same with a beach. The zip line goes over Adrenaline Beach, but that's not the optimal beach for swimming or water play.

Usually all of the good times are sold out prior to arriving at the port, so if you wait till your at Labadee, the times to go will be towards the end of the day. It's really fun given that you at the highest point on the island so you have a great view. It's very safe, so no need to be chicken.
