accessable taxis at Caribbean ports

Planning to sail on Eclipse November 27 and wanted to take taxis for shore excursions, but need to accommodate a rollator. Would this be practical?

A lot of taxis in the Caribbean don't have trunks. They are vans filled with seats. The OP did not say which ports.

I have been cruising Europe and the Carib for 9 years with a rollator and have never been tured away by a taxi van in any port because of it. So e of the vans are difficult to get into if you have mobility issues but In all but a few cases I managed.
