Princess Cruiser who could not give up the Equinox Special!

Hi! I just booked the 11/6/2017 cruise and I have a few questions for all of the Celebrity Pros!

1. What is the name of the Daily Schedule of events? I am trying to look up some to see what events are scheduled on a regular basis.

2. Is there anywhere that we can watch the NFL games? We will really miss watching them outside.

3. Where are the designated smoking areas? We are not smokers and were booked into veranda cabin 6231. I don't want to be directly above the smokers!

4. Has anyone been in that cabin and have pictures? I want to make sure that it is not obstructed view.

I am excited to try Celebrity and appreciate any advice that you can throw my way!

Even though we travel on both Princess and Celebrity, I cannot answer your first two questions.

6231 is an excellent cabin but you will be directly above the smoker's area -- if you can, you should move to the Starboard side if smoke bothers you. If you stay in this cabin category and on the hump, you will have zero obstruction.

Daily schedule is called "Celebrity Today". There are many posted on various threads.

NFL games are usually on the TV in the casino bar and in the Gastro Pub.

No smoking in the Casino (ever) on Celebrity!

I'm also a Princess cruiser. I have been on celebrity in the past (only once 2013). Due to the limited itineraries offered in Australia. I've stayed with princess. However I have a Princess cruise booked for SE Asia. A Celebrity offer has come to light.

For the same fare I receive an Oceanview (instead of interior). 2 extra nights (14 nights instead of 12). Free beverage package. Along with free tips (however I receive 200usd obc with princess which cancels this out). Perhaps I should make the switch!

Question is. I usually buy the future cruise sales. It doesn't nominate the onboard credit offered. It simply lists between 50 to 200 or 50 to 500. Does anyone know the scaling of onboard credit for duration and room type?

We have 6299 booked on solstice. Will we be above the smokers too?

Cabin 6299 is way aft on port side, and so is well beyond the smoking area.

Welcome to Celebrity! We too sail both lines ( 1st Princess in 1992, last the Ruby in 2012 ) and promise your going to love the Equinox! We are booked AGAIN on the 11/6/2017 sailing along with 8-10 more from previous cruises.

There is nothing on any other ship that compares to the GastroBar on the Equinox for watching College and the NFL! It was just like any sports bar in Dallas the last 2 years on Sat & Sun, Monday nite and Thursday games it was packed too.

We are on deck 7 this cruise, you will have no problem with any smoke coming up from deck 5. It is the worst on the top deck at the Mast Bar and the one side of the pool. Very few go to 5. So pay no mind, we have been there, experienced it, and are going back for more!
