Definitely the Backstage tour, I think the normal tour is included in it [or used to be].

What we decided to do instead of taking a tour of the Opera House was to go to a performance.

We also intend to go to a performance.

We did the backstage tour and a performance as well. It's a great combination.

If your tour is before the performance, and your tickets are will-call, you can pop over and pick up your tickets after the tour. They should already have them ready for you (they did for us even though our show was a few days in the future) and the line is much shorter that way.
