DAWN - Solo Traveler Lounge

I've read some ships have a lounge for Solo travelers but don't think I've seen one mentioned in connection with Dawn.

No solo's on the Dawn, just the big ships.

I meant Studios, no Studios, I think you meant Studio Lounge.

Only NCL ships with studio cabins have a studio lounge (currently Epic, Breakaway and Getaway). Solo lounge is a slight misnomer, though typically solo cruisers book studio cabins.

There is no studio lounge on the Dawn, of course, but there is a Solo Travelers Get-together or "Sailing Solo Social" announced in the program most evenings (not every day) at 6pm in Gatsby's (champagne/martini bar). I don't know if it's hosted by a member of the cruise staff or if everyone's just on their own.

I'm sailing in a suite but thought 'solo lounge' may have meant a place where solos could meet and mingle. :) As a brand new solo traveler, I doubt I'd participate but wanted to understand what choices exist. I'm so used to all my cruises on HAL, getting familiar with NCL is a learning experience. :)

The Spirit and Jewel class ships all have champagne bars and expect the Dawn does too. On our last two cruises first with the Jewel and then the Pearl we found that lots of people gathered at the champagne bars before dinner and everyone was friendly. Some were definitely couples but I did notice that some appeared to on their own and having a good time mixing.

My next cruise is on the Dawn and I expect to be solo so my plans are to go Gatsby's Champagne Bar and hope it's a friendly group:) On the Pearl and Jewel there was no notice that the champagne bar was spot for solos to gather, but I like the idea!

The Star Bar on the Dawn may have a Martini night usually around 6:00pm for an hour or so there is at times a good turn out. If there is not a Martini night it may have a 2 for 1 or discounted drinks, that is the closets that I have seen something similar to a solo lounge as there were quit a few individuals there.
