Rare crewsweeper Posted February 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2017 You can email Steve Uhl at sandalsandskis.com and reserve loungers. To get there is easy. Just take either the tram from inside the port or walk outside the port gate and catch a taxi and tell the driver of either you want to get off at Tropicante. They'll let you out along the street a block from the water and malecon at an intersection called Calle Sierra. and you'll just walk down to the malecon, turn left and head to Tropicante (2nd business, on left with a white and blue sign above the open air store. Here's how they describe how to get there. https://ahhhmahahual.com/2016/01/11/how-to-transport-from-the-costa-maya-port-into-the-town-of-mahahual/

kariandsid Posted July 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Tropicante was a wonderful place to relax with a beach chair provided, and they serve you like you are a celebrity VIP. Steve and his team are very accommodating and helpful. He has three master masseuse's on site, and our 1 hour massage, under a shade tree with the breeze blowing, was amazing. The food was unbelievable and very inexpensive. Gotta try the El Compadre Agave (tequila) We don't drink tequila, but we do now, lol. This is so worth the $8.00 cab ride....(tip not included)
