Turner's beach umbrellas - what kind?

Does anyone know if Turners Beach has more umbrellas other than the "permanent" wooden type in all the pictures? We are thinking of arriving just before lunch and are concerned we may not find any shade. Is it possible to rent an umbrella if the others are taken? :cool:

The only ones I saw when we were there were the permanent ones. Sorry, I don't know if they have others to rent. They do have a large covered deck where the restaurant is. You could always sit up there in the shade

No problem. Save all the angst, and book lunch at Jacqui O's (bottom of Turners Beach). Your bed' shade and a warm welcome will await your arrival. Simples ;)

We were at Turners 2 years ago, loved it. We had them place our loungers under the trees, a decent size area and very close to the bar/restaurant. Quiet area, no loud music from the rest. Another plus is that I like to shop but don't want to pestered by vendors approaching my lounger. At Turners (at that tine anyway), the vendors had tables set up and you went to them. Much more civilized.

Yes, I forgot about the trees. I think there would be ample shade for you at this gorgeous beach. You won't be disappointed with Turners Beach.
